GLEN INNES SHOW 2023

Saturday February 11th, 2023, we took our show team to Glen Innes Show and we were extremely humbled by our success achieved. Sale preparations well underway @ bizzy brahmans

Bizzy Sale preparation's are well underway at 'Rocky Creek' Copmanhurst. Bizzy has had the last few days getting in before the rain with photographer Margaretta Fahey capturing the sale bulls and heifers for our Flyer and Catalogue. This year we will have 17 Bulls and 6 Heifers on offer at our annual BIZZY and JOMANDA Brahman Sale, Saturday 3rd September 2022, 11am, at Grafton Saleyards. A large crowd and strong demand for females made Saturdays sale very successful. We offered 21 Brangus Heifers, 10-12mths. With the top pen making $2400p/hd. 21 heifers Sold to Avg $2300 p/hd. All going to Purchaser Ray White- Casino. 5 Charbray Heifers, 8-10mths, sold to Kirwan Rural to Avg $2375. 5 Simbrah Heifers, 8-10mths, were sold online to repeat buyer Jared Farley to Avg $2100. Innes Fahey sells with the confidence of a stud breeder because he is one

Growing up on a Brahman stud on the Clarence River, Innes Fahey already had an idea of how to sell a bull when he was offered a job after he left school with Grafton livestock agent Ray Donovan. Bizzy in the hands of the next generation

Born and bred on the NSW North Coast, Michael Fahey was first introduced to the Brahman breed while he was working on the Innes family’s Walla Brahman Stud near Gin Gin for five years. When he returned to his home property ‘Nettle Creek’ on the Clarence River, he brought with him his bride, Elizabeth (‘Bizzy’) Innes and a shared love and appreciation of Brahman cattle. The base herd at Nettle Creek was Hereford, so the Faheys first ventured into breeding Braford cattle and in 1976, Michael and Elizabeth founded their Brahman stud, Bizzy Brahman Stud (#1392), with strong influences from ...
